A new open access book on datafication and families
A new book edited by researchers Julian Sefton-Green, Kate Mannell and Ola Erstad explores debates about platformization, mediatization and datafication in regards to the family. It was funded by the Collaboration of Humanities and Social Sciences in Europe project, the Norwegian Research Council and The Australian Centre of Excellence for the Study of the Digital Child and aims to explain theoretical frameworks and research methodologies for students and scholars to examine the impact of platformization on family routines and interactions, including intergenerational communication, relationships, caregiving, and shared experiences.
