Applying theory in practice: How to use theory for policy and practice?
There is nothing more practical than a good theory, so says a famous phrase. Efforts to design policy, regulation and practical solutions are underpinned by (normative) understandings of what constitutes beneficial or harmful digital engagement and how it affects children. Such understandings should be informed and deepened by concepts, theories and explanations that, in turn, draw on empirical evidence and research with children. How can we enable these synergies?
We offer a collation of resources and guidance to help you use theory for policy and practice.
